Industrial Gutters & Roof Drainage
A large industrial or commercial roof moves a lot more water than a house roof, and undersized or poorly maintained drainage is one of the most common causes of roof and building-envelope problems. All Pro Industrial designs and installs gutter and drainage systems sized for industrial and commercial roof areas.
What We Provide
- Commercial and industrial-scale gutter systems
- Custom-fabricated gutters sized to the roof area, using All Pro’s on-site seamless gutter fabrication capability
- Downspout and conductor system design
- Roof drainage planning and correction
- Coordination with underground/site drainage tie-ins where within scope
Why Drainage Sizing Matters
Undersized gutters and downspouts overflow, and overflow finds the weakest point in a building envelope — foundations, walls, loading docks, or the roof edge itself. Sizing drainage correctly for the actual roof area and regional rainfall is a building-protection decision, not a cosmetic one.
Problems Caused by Uncontrolled Roof Runoff
- Gutter overflow
- Water against walls or foundations
- Erosion near the building
- Loading-area or walkway water problems
- Roof-edge deterioration
- Recurring drainage maintenance
- Downspouts discharging water where the site cannot carry it away
Coordinating With the Rest of the Building
Roof drainage doesn’t stop at the downspout. Water collected by the roof and gutters has to be carried by the downspouts to a discharge point and then routed away by the site itself. Where a project’s scope includes it, All Pro coordinates the roof and gutter system with the site-level grading and drainage handled under Civil & Sitework, so water is actually carried away from the building and site — not just moved from the roof to the foundation.
How We Approach a Drainage Scope
All Pro reviews the contributing roof area, existing gutters and downspouts, discharge locations, visible overflow or erosion patterns, and the condition of the surrounding site. The resulting scope can include gutter/downspout replacement, custom fabrication, drainage correction and coordination with site-level drainage where needed.
